Videofied .... A short history
We heard it began when the city of Paris began imposing fines of $500 for every false alarm where police were dispatched. One response to this problem was the Videofied verification system. We're not sure how plausible this story is, but after our customers began using the Videofied system they were very happy with the results. Technically, it is one of the best security systems we have ever seen. When we recently heard about thieves disabling the (wired) security system at a group of Jewelry stores in Eastern Tennessee, we thought how the stores would benefit from the Videofied System. There are no wires to cut, the wireless signal has an encryption very difficult to break (ask one government agency why they use the system), and if the batteries get low on power it will let you know...this system is wonderful. It's easy to install and that's what most installers don't want you to know. After all, ordinary security systems require cabling and a connection to the local power grid. When Hurricane Rita hit Houston in 2005, Videofied customers didn't worry about protection. Their Videofied systems continued to function as reliably as always. Your local police department will love this system for the false alarms they won't have to respond to. |
